Donny has been with the Chamber since March 1998. He is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Chamber, including financial management and information technology, and manages the contractual relationships with vendors and professional service providers. Donny also leads all workforce development efforts of the Chamber, serving as Executive Director of the Region 3 Workforce Development Council / West Alabama Works. He is involved with various strategic initiatives of the Chamber and works directly with the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Finance Committee and West Alabama Chamber Foundation.

Donny serves on the Board of Directors of the Public Affairs Research Council of Alabama, is an appointed member of the Alabama Workforce Board where he is the co-chair of the Innovation Committee on Workforce Development. He also serves on the Boards of Directors for the Tuscaloosa Education Foundation, Tuscaloosa Character Council, Region 3 Workforce Board, and Heritage Healthcare Board. Donny was recently appointed by the Governor to serve on the K-12 CTE and ELA Course of Study Committee, K-12 Textbook Committee and the Alabama Committee on Credentialing and Career Pathways where he also serve as an officer. Donny has also been appointed by the Lt. Governor to serve on the Reading By Grade Level Taskforce and the Small Business Task Force. Donny is an Education Attainment Fellow with the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives.

Prior to employment at the Chamber, Donny was a regional manager with American Home Patient. He is a graduate of the U.S. Chamber's Institute for Organization Management, the Economic Development Institute at the University of Oklahoma and has earned the professional designation of Alabama Accredited Chamber Executive from the Chamber of Commerce Association of Alabama. Donny graduated from The University of Alabama with a degree in Management Information Systems and Computer Science and is a 2001 graduate of Leadership Tuscaloosa.
